Thornwood, lacking identity and social connection, will be revitalized through an urban cultural building inspired by its industrial past and ‘Clyde Built’ heritage. This space will integrate with the landscape, fostering collaboration and engagement by providing studios for sculpting, teaching design and craftsmanship, and exhibiting local talent. Welcoming both residents and the public, the project will serve as a landmark that encourages inclusivity while working alongside park redevelopment to create a more inviting and utilized community space.
