Church Street

The client approached us, to redesign their home with the aim of providing more space (extra rooms), broken up spaces lead by a transition from space to space/clear thresholds. It aims to push the boundaries of the local context giving the home a more unique look, whilst maintaining the material palette. We aim to improve the sustainability of the home, further becoming an inspiration to how neighbours can obtain better sustainable standards, which lends it motivation to the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), as it becomes a local example.

The proposed design consists of a rear and side (wrap-around) extension with an entire internal redesign, changing the layout and style towards a contemporary and minimalistic character.
